The need for vertical specialization in the area of finance, taxation, company law and audit to meet the diverse requirements of the trade and industry brought five Chartered Accountants together to pool their individual talents and resources on a partnership basis. The result was the formation of M/s. MANIAN SURESH SUNDAR & VITTAL, a firm of Chartered Accountants in the year 1981.

Since the firm was popularly known as MSSV, the name was formally changed to MSSV & Co in October, 2007
